Radio decoding

If a radio is disconnected from the battery, battery disconnected from the car or if the battery goes flat. The radio will need to has its code entered back in.

The code should be supplied with the car when new but offen is lost or not supplied. With no code to enter the radio will not work.

You normally have 3 -10 attempts to enter the correct code, if after the attempt the code is incorrect the radio will lock out until recoded

Most radios will say - CODE, SAFE, SECURITY or a similar message on the display.

We can recode radios, even if the wrong code has been entered & the radio is locked out.

Once recoded the radio will be reset, you are given the code number & will work on the first correct attempt of input.
